About this course

The improvement of sleep knowledge education can help individuals to have better sleep quality and enhance their physical and psychological health. This course aims to strengthen the basic education of sleep knowledge, to open the trainee's exploration of sleep medicine, to look forward to improving the emphasis on sleep, and in the event of trouble, to ask for help or referral properly.

Course Features

This course briefly introduces the updated knowledge about sleep medicine. The topics cover important areas of sleep medicine, from animal to human study, from physiological to the pathological mechanism. Two major sleep disorders, insomnia, and sleep-related breathing disorders are discussed in more detail.

Week4: Sleep Monitoring: Image & Polysomnography (PSG)
Week5: Insomnia & its Management

This part passing score is 60 (full score: 100).
*Quiz: 50%
*Midterm: 25%
*Final: 25%
